AF 32® eco is an alkali-free flat glass with a special down-draw method. This makes it possible to manufacture products with thicknesses between 0.03mm and 1.1mm.

Its fire-polished surface results in low roughness values. In addition, AF 32® eco has the same thermal expansion coefficient as silicon. Therefore, it is very suitable for optical packaging materials in the semiconductor industry. Due to its high transition temperature, it can be used in high temperature applications up to about 600°C.

AF 32® eco is a semiconductor encapsulation glass, available in various wafer forms, manufactured with environmentally friendly refining agents instead of arsenic and antimony.
